Bright violet. Expansive, mineral- and spice-tinged red and blue fruit aromas show outstanding clarity
and suave floral and vanilla topnotes. Broad and fleshy in the mouth, offering appealingly sweet cherryvanilla,
black raspberry and lavender pastille flavors that become livelier with air. Deftly blends power
and finesse and finishes with excellent clarity, sneaky tannins and lingering florality.

2016 Château La Croix des Pins Gigondas Les Dessous des Dentelles (90-92)
Deep bright-rimmed ruby. A highly aromatic bouquet evokes ripe blackberry and cherry cola, along with
suggestions of smoky minerals, lavender and allspice. Deep, round and expansive, offering concentrated
dark fruit flavors and a hint of candied flowers. Powerful yet graceful in style, showing impressive
balance, fine-grained balance and strong finishing cling.
